I've read Heaven (the 1st book about 15 times before I started reading the 2nd book). I can't get enough of the tragedy and pain Heaven had to endure time and time again. I found myself crying right along with her. How can one stunning young woman endure so much pain!!????

Love VC Andrews. Her tales are so haunting and beautiful!
I love this book!!!! Read it when it first was published and reread it again. Her style in engaging the reader with the characters makes you can actually see them as real people and feel their joy and pain. I love this series in particular. She makes " farthy" come alive!
I remember reading the Casteels series when I was very young. My heart would soar and weep whilst reading this series. I haven't read any of her books since, until recently I stumbled upon her books and the feelings are still the same. Virginia Andrews was a phenomenal writer. I wish I had the opportunity to meet her in person. RIP VC Andrews, your compelling stories are being read in every library, book store, homes in bed, on the trains by many of your loyal readers.
This book left me bored. I like the characters and their story, however, the revenge/forgiveness theme that permeates every chapter left me bored and wondering if I should continue reading this series.
I read these books as a teenager all VC ANDREWS UP TILL 1990 I am 47 Now reading them as an adult they are just as good if not better. Being that I a m older I think you read them in different perspective there are many things I do not remember so it makes the books even better.What a shame i there all my paper backs away to make broom for the hardback books we bought before kindle.I could have passed them on to my daughters or nieces to enjoy. I am on a mission to read all of them. I know you are suppose to tell your favorite parts of the books but I believe just to tell whether or not they are good or bad I have reading reviews that tell you pretty much everything then it ruins it for others. so my opinion st s rtf with Flowers in the attic and just keep reading you won't be disappointed.
I started reading vc andrews at a young age. I think I was about 13. And it almost felt forbidden but even my other family members had admitted to reading them. As a adult I still enjoy reading some of them again. My favorite is the Casteel series. The twists the turns in every story. From having secret rich families. And family members not actually being blood related. And the person you actually love you shouldn't love because turns our your related lol. That is classic vc andrews. Usually someone ends up not being able to walk. Or having a embarrassing incident in front of school friends. The twists and turns and family secrets never end. This is why my guilty pleasure is vc andrews novels especially the earlier novels.
