Clean Romance. As always, Melanie Jacobson doesn't disappoint! A fun light-hearted romance that comes to a beautiful conclusion. Hannah and Will's friendship changes as Hanna's friend (actually her brother's friend, but hers too) Will decides to seriously look for a wife. Hannah decides to sabotage his efforts so that her long-standing crush won't be jeopardized. After Will registers for an internet dating service with Hannah's help, Hannah decides that she should do the same, and date too, to see if she can cure herself of her crush, and move on so that she won't be left bereft if Will succeeds.
Will is a fun character nerdy, fun, laid back, and genuine. He attacks his problems very analytically, but doesn't see Hannah right before him until she finally drops the bombshell that she has never gotten over her crush that she has had on him for years. She told him as a teen that she loved him, and has tried to keep the 'friends' status there, torturing herself all the while with nearness and contact with Will over the years. Her best girlfriend, Sophie, is the one who challenges her to tell him again, and to be honest about how she sees him. Will's reaction, and her reactions to her declaration put them both in tail spin, trying to let go, and hold onto the comfortable friendship that they have cherished, while figuring out the nuances of this new thing. With their individual dating, worries about Hannah's brother's reaction (each in their own way), it was fun to see how this all resolved and how they stumbled through. The story is told from Hannah's perspective, as she tries to sabotage Will's dating, and tries to at least hold onto the friendship that they have. Her agony, and struggles to try to get Will to see the woman that she is instead of the girl she was, was cleverly done, and a fun read. Great side characters, the dates are funny, and while MJ repeats the internet dating scenario she has used in other novels, this is still a fresh, tender, fun novel that will leave you satisfied.

Always Will Melanie Jacobson 9781680476156 Books Reviews
She really has a handle on contemporary English. Most of her stories are very fun commentaries about online dating, and I especially liked Not My Type, which had me highlighting every other word. It was amazing.
I LOVE this author. Every one of her books makes me think and enlarges my understanding of people and relationships. This story is masterfully written. The characters are so well developed that I wish they were my friends or neighbors. I wish Melanie's books weren't so expensive but I guess you get what you pay for and in this case, I definitely got my money's worth. Thank you for a read I won't soon forget.
Clean, fun, entertaining romance. I have long since loved reading books by Melanie Jacobson and this one is my new favorite. I've already read it more than once and it will be one I pick up again! It is one I highly recommend! It is just like sitting down to watch a rom-com. The dialogue and story line are fun and entertaining. It had me smiling and laughing throughout the book. . . and I'll be honest a few moments of misty eyes as well. I love the storyline about a girl being in love with her brother's best friend for years. . .
It will leave you feeling good and wanting to read it all over again )
"Always Will", by Melanie Jacobson is everything awesome that I have come to expect from this author. It's fun, fast, easy & so chock-full of saucy banter, wry witticisms, & hilarious snarkatude, that I honestly can't imagine how all of that wordly goodness can fit in any one writer's noggin (maybe that's why she wrote it...?) no matter how utterly brill, that noggin may be.
It's everything a fun, clean, contemporary rom-com should be, with its fun relationship-ie plot & HI-larius dialogue.
The book is just uber fun, in the most awesome of ways.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Can't wait for my next Mel J novel!
❤️😉❤️
This novel sounded really cute and like it would be a fun read; plus there were some really great reviews. While I did end up enjoying it, I did not feel it was worth the price I paid ($10.99); for that I was expecting a lot more. To be honest, the first quarter of the novel was the worst and if I hadn't paid the aformentioned price I would have stopped reading the novel. I persisted on and things finally started getting interesting. I was actually hoping Hannah would get over Will and meet someone else. I was really tired of how completely crazy she was over him. How she built her world around him. On and on, you get the picture.
There were moments midway through the book that were humorous and were to me the highlights of the whole story. Things of course end happily but I just really did not get that feeling that Will and Hannah were really meant to be together.
There are many who really loved this novel, so I know I am not in the majority. But for those of you who are sitting on the line and trying to decide if you want to purchase this one, I encourage you to read the first chapter preview and if it really doesn't draw you in, then you may fall in the camp with me. Again, it ended up being enjoyable but was not worth the price to me.
I missed a lot of sleep to devour this book! I've been reading Melanie Jacobson's books for years now and this is easily my new favorite. Sometimes finding a clean romance novel means dipping into the YA pool, where the writing is often distractingly bad, the dialogue unrealistic, and the characters barely developed beyond a selfie. Always Will, however, is a delightful and well-written novel with fully developed characters you can both relate to and wish they could be your new best friends. It's a book for grown-ups and older teens alike--and it's cleaner than the average PG movie. Her style is direct and non-fussy, with the occasional cliche' thrown in for a touch of whimsy. Even though you just know from the beginning exactly how it is going to end, you are compelled to keep reading and keep reading to see what twist will come next and find out how she can possibly fill the remaining chapters when you know what should happen! Clear your schedule before starting because you won't want to put it down until you read it all.
Clean Romance.
