WOW. Don't let the 3 stars fool ya. If you want dark, you're gonna want this. I liked it. It was INTENSE, SHOCKING, confusing, as it WTH moments.Chere started off as a stripper, but now has been and escort for 10 years. Its her job. She has a boyfriend, and an "agent" not a pimp. Shes not a street hooker. Shes an "Escort"
One client, will take her over the edge of all the rules. Not just any client...a sadistic, tortuous, cruel man. A man that sets a rage in her. That belittles her, hurts her, and then writes poetry for her. Throw in a boyfriend who has a major drug problem, that not only depends on her, but hurts her too. It had my head shaking. I got angry, i got freaked and quite frankly one scene got a little scary for me.
This is a man and woman who are really messed up. They bring out the worst but make each other feel the best..
I know right?! Confusing review....believe I'm confused too..and cant believe that I'm rooting for W..after all the things he's done..AWFUL things.
And yes, i cant wait to see what happens next..I'm moving to book 2 immediately

WOW!!!! One of the DARKEST books I have ever read. I can not tell you how many times I went to put this book down to stop reading. I was like NO. JUST NO. This is not okay.
However; I. Just. Could. Not. Stop. Reading.
It took me on a ride that emotional was indescribable!!!!
I hated this guy.
Who? Don’t know. We never learn his real name or nothing about him.
I hated this woman.
But I have to say after finishing it I am still not sure how I feel about this book.
So why did I rate this book five stars?
When an author can make me feel ever emotion imaginable while reading his/her story I can not help but think they went above and beyond telling a story. She actually did more than entertain me. Very few books move me emotional. Whether I end up liking this book or not I am amazed at Annabel Joseph’s writing.
The book does leave you hanging, which I was okay with because the next book is already out but if that were not the case I would have been furious.
I have no choice but to read the next book.
Maybe after the second book, I will find out if I truly hate the characters or if I even like the story.

Annabel Joseph never fails to deliver a mind blowing read and Torment Me part one in this series totally blew me away.
Chere aka Miss Kitty is a high class escort thinking she had gone up in the world from club stripper. She played the part of Pink pretty Miss Kitty and was not ready for the rough love from the mysteries 'W'.
The story develops and opens here's eyes to what a mess her current life is, she is an abusive relationship with her drugged up and failing artist boyfriend and no skills to change her career path.
'W' rapes, tortures, beats and plays mind games with her body or is he giving her want she needs and teaching her to love the pain & pleasure and understand her worth. After the two hour sessions 'W' kisses her deeply and leaves her with words of poetry that just add to her confused state of mind.
'W' is a sadist through and through and chere provides the holes to fill his every dark, twisted, painful desires.
This book is BDSM at it's darkest and I loved every second of this book.
Chere finally gets her act together and boom I need part 2 roll on November !!!
This was some hardcore erotica and BDSM let me tell you that. But what really captured and fascinated me was Chere and W. Chere was a broken and flawed woman in a destructive relationship with an addict. Her childhood had been filled with neglect and abuse. She'd never known love and never been reaffirmed, that that she was good enough just as she was. She was only with her boyfriend because she didn't think she deserved better. Their relationship was filled and based on abuse, drugs and both of them being dependent on one another.
When Chere met her client W something profoundly changed with and within her. That journey Chere went on was very enthralling and also thrilling. She started as a punching bag for her boyfriend, afraid of her body's reaction and its craving for W's sadistic and twisted scenes but grew into a strong and confident woman. She embraced her want and need to feel and experience something real for once in her life and W provided that for her. He was her escape.
W was and still is a mystery. He came of as he himself told Chere, as a sadist but he also had a soft and caring side. Yes, he showed it rarely but it was there. Their scenes together were so strong, erotic and also a little twisted. I felt their chemistry cause it was insanely hot.
Annabel Joseph has created two very intriguing characters and their story is so compelling, that I can't wait to read the sequel. Her prose is raw, honest and poignant. The pace of the story was fantastic, keeping me on edge from start to finish. Definitely a series to read.
